Hi, we're Deb & Jess, a mother-daughter duo pursuing our dream of owning a small business selling seasonal decor and our handmade wreaths. Here's a bit of how this all came to be....
IN THE BEGINNING
Mom has been painting, creating and crafting for as long as I can remember. The crafty gene didn't rub off on me til a little over 10 years ago. On a whim, I decided to try my hand at making a wreath while standing in a Hobby Lobby. It turned out...le'ts say...not great. But something in me told me to keep going, pretty unlike me, but I kept at it. Mom had started getting back in the swing of things too. Come November 2015, we participated in our very first craft show as pure hobbyists just trying to sell a few pieces. It wasn't much at the time, but it was a START.

OUR FIRST BIG STEP
Fast forward a few years later, we both have LLC's and Etsy shops, selling both online and at larger craft shows. We'd take a biannual trip to one of our favorite wholesalers in North Carolina and one thing we'd ALWAYS talk about was combining forces and opening up a small business selling our wreaths. We'd toss around new business name suggestions (check out our other post about how we came up with our name!) and ideas for a store. It certainly made the 6hr drive go by faster! Come January of 2022, Mom happened upon a small space in Belleville, PA for rent. It needed work....ALOT of work. But we could really see us there, with an adorable storefront and room in the back to create. So...on March 1st, 2022, we signed a lease, got our keys, and were off to the races.

We put a ton of work into getting the building ready, had a wall taken out, cleaned and painted ALOT and finally opened May 27, 2022.

WHERE WE ARE NOW
15 months later, we found a space in downtown Lewistown, 15 mins closer to home and more space to spread out a bit. We dreamed of having a space to host wreath workshops, game nights, and this space had it all. So, we took a leap of faith and moved into our current space, reopening on September 1, 2023. Since then, we've hosted many a wreath workshop, Bingo nights and been able to be a part of lots of downtown Lewistown activities like First Fridays and our favorite....Goose Day (check it out if you've never heard of it!)! We've also met a ton of wonderful people along the way, fellow business owners and customers alike. And we certainly wouldn't still be here if it weren't for all of them, so for that we are forever grateful. Thank you all for supporting this dream of ours. For as long as this ride lasts, we're so glad we've been able to do this together.
